Sentimental favorites such as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" are interspersed with whimsical tunes such as "Snow" (from Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS) and the delightful "Suzy Snowflake" (originally popularized in 1951 by Rosemary Clooney). But this is more than just a magnificent singing performance - along with her enchanting renditions the best-loved Christmas songs from America's golden era of stage and screen, Layne shares heartwarming tales of the stories behind the songs, anecdotes of the composers and stars who made these songs a part of American history.

Irving Berlin lived over 100 years and wrote over 1,000 songs. Layne tells the fascinating story of this remarkable man through his unforgettable songs, including "Alexander's Ragtime Band," "A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody," "Always," "Easter Parade," "How Deep Is The Ocean," and "White Christmas."

"AN ENCHANTED EVENING OF RICHARD RODGERS"
Layne offers up a wealth of glorious Broadway songs, together with the story of Rodgers' life and collaboration with his writing partners Oscar Hammerstein II and Lorenz Hart which produced THE SOUND OF MUSIC, PAL JOEY, OKLAHOMA and THE KING AND I. The show also honors the Rodgers dynasty and the music of his daughter Mary Rodgers and grandson Adam Guettel.

The world's greatest songwriting brothers were George and Ira Gershwin. Layne's fabulous Gershwin show features their songs from Broadway and Hollywood including "Strike Up the Band," "Embraceable You," "The Man I Love," "A Foggy Day in London Town," "Summertime," and "Someone to Watch Over Me."
